How I would fix the NY Giants organization

So for the first time in ten years, the Giants made the Playoffs which is the very definition of an ascending team. Now what GM in their right mind would tear it all down and start a complete rebuild? Not one

Anybody who watched that team and thought this wasn't paying attention. They were a mediocre team running a highly conservative offense that did just enough and caught enough breaks to jump out to a 6-1 record. Then they struggled the rest of the way against better competition and went on the road to beat one of the worst 13 win teams you'll ever see. That season was smoke and mirrors and they were a prime candidate for regression with a much harder schedule in 2023. We'd be in a much better spot had we simply won 4 or 5 games like we were expected to.

If Mara hired someone as President, it would be an acknowledgment that he is part of the problem and bringing in family in key positions is part of the problem. I don't believe Mara Will acknowledge his role her.  He has done much to give the appearance of not meddling especially since the poor handling of the Jones and Barkley contracts. He has many believing that all he's done is offer "opinions" (to a newly hired first time GM).

Also, in terms of the decision to replace Schoen, his first 2 drafts were weak.  But, last years draft looks like its pretty goid with the potential to be really good if he can bring in a QB who can throw the ball downfield accurately.  Hard for me to believe  that serious fans can look at Gettleman and Schoen side by side and have a problem deciding who was the better GM.

When in 2022 you had the 5th and 7th pick in the draft and neither one is really contributing two years later and you make one of the biggest blunders in Giants football history with Jones and Barkley, and your football team is worse tha when you took over , do you really think that you deserve to remain as GM of the team ?

Yes he seems to have had a good draft this past year but I do not know how much of it was credited to Brandon Brown , if at all.

If you keepo both Schoen and Daboll and let them draft ," their QB", then you are giving them 2 more years . Is that what you want for this team ?

Schoen is better, but that's like saying a burned hamburger is better than a manure sandwich. Both are inedible.

I think we should stop pretending this draft is a good draft. It's mediocre. We're just so used to bad drafts that it looks better than it actually is.
