Okereke and Kreiter are the only Captains left. Although there are Players in the Locker Room who have stepped up to have a voice, why hasn't Daboll addressed this issue?

The Offense is in neutral. Shouldn't they vote for a team Captain? Then again, who would that be? Slayton? An Offensive Lineman who's been here less than a year on a one year deal? It has to be a starter, so Singletary is out. A struggling JMS?

With 5 games left, is it important or not?

"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Yes, it is something Daboll should address.

He bit off more than he could chew. If he gets fired, these are the types of things that will be on the long list of reasons not to bring him back. In that regard, I don't feel sorry for him.

Not necessary. Old school Giants only needed Harry Carson (and George Martin in Super Bowl was given the honor).

Making people Captain for the sake of having a Captain was proven the past couple years to not have the punch it was intended.

Are they allowed to midseason? I never seen new captains appointed during the season, curious if there is any type of rule or anything behind it.

You don't need to have a C on your uniform to be a leader.

I think herein is where the answer lies.
