Captain Andrew Luck was a fictional Twitter character writing letters home about his exploits on the NFL field of battle.   Here is one with a Giants twist

Dearest Mother,

I hope this letter finds you in good spirits, for mine are heavy with sorrow—not from the hardships of war, but from the heartache of supporting the 2-13 New York Giants. Their record is as bleak as a battlefield after the smoke clears, and each Sunday feels like watching my comrades march into certain defeat.

The defense, once proud and sturdy, crumbles like an old barn in a storm. The offense? A sadder sight you'd not see, stumbling and fumbling like green recruits. And yet, I remain loyal, though the burden tests me more than any winter march.

The lads in camp have taken to mocking me. Eagles fans laugh, Cowboys supporters jeer, and even Washington fans pity me. They wave their victories in my face like trophies, and I can only muster, "Loyalty is my sword, and I'll wield it to the bitter end!" Still, Mother, it stings, and I question how much more my heart can take.

I hold onto memories of better days—Eli Manning and those glorious Super Bowls. But they feel so distant, like the home I long to see. Perhaps brighter days will come, with new leaders and new triumphs. Until then, I endure, for the Giants are not just a team—they are a cause, and one worth believing in.

Pray for me, Mother, and for this woeful team of mine. And if you could, send a new Giants cap. Mine is soaked with tears and tarnished by ridicule.

Your loving son,
