The change in coaches set him back. DeBoer did not do a good job this season. Maybe the coach will find his footing in the SEC but right now the hire looks bad.

SEC coaches not named Saban and recently Smart have generally underperformed in developing their talent.

I said earlier in the year he is a poor man's Jalen Hurts, but I don't think his passing is good enough to call him that.  I don't think Hurts is a great passer, just think Milroe is not good in that part of the game. 

His arm is obviously strong but he is not a natural passer and I have a hard time seeing him turn into a good passer at the next level.

This draft has five guys (Dart, McCord, Howard, Leonard and Milroe) I'd be interested in any where from the second to fifth round. I don't think any of them will become stars but all of them have more upside than DeVito and can become a solid starter or a good backup. If they want to go that route with Lock as the starter I would still want them to do whatever they can to get one of the bigger name quarterbacks in 2026.

madb: Great post. IMO we see the possibilities for the Giants similarly. I hope they see it the same and will be able to at least get one of the two top CB's or the top DT, Edge, OL or TE (the is one of each). Bob
