I mean, did they provide any rationale for this list?

Interesting how even with the redraft and knowing the Giants dumped Jones, they still had the Giants picking a receiver, once again passing on Nix, Penix, and McCarthy.

Tim: I'll provide one... waste our time with some Monday-morning quarterbacking of their own. Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

I think the Giants were in a bit of a catch-22.  I believe that the better the pillars of support, the better the chances of successfully developing a drafted QB prospect.

That's why they explained their decision to pass on a QB with:

QuoteThey'll still need to figure out the quarterback position, but whoever they would have taken at quarterback in this redraft would have had no one to throw to.

Bob,

Still, this is a rare occasion where the Monday-morning quarterbacking worked in the Giants' favor.  NYG drafted Nabers, who would have gone two picks earlier in the redraft.  I would call that a "win"

I give it zero credence. It's a different version of someone else's opinion.

I think it was a weird exercise, or as Bob said it much better, a waste of time.

Rich: I did notice that and would only amend your correct statement by adding "a win THUS FAR."  Bob

As Rich said: "A bit early, but not much going on" That's sorta the case, I suppose. In any event, I have to wonder whether or not this eyeball-seeking re-Draft actually assumed the absence of Daniel Jones, wishful thinking/second-guessing aside?

But does it really matter as it hasn't gotten as much interest here as the so called, 33rdteam may have hoped for. Qui s'en soucie?

Cheers!

Dru Phillips moves up to 22nd but the consensus here is that he can only play Slot Corner and we need to reach yet again for another CB.

Not having the Giants draft Nix in this fantasy scenario is preposterous, in my opinion.  The guy can clearly play.
