Video produced by the Giants' media team...little 3 or 4 minute highlights of each drafted player

You can never actually lose a homing pigeon - if your homing pigeon does not return, what you've lost is a pigeon

Ed Vette

This might be the best draft class I've witnessed by the NYGs this Century and then some.
Note some observations,
Carter in Coverage
Dart running to a sideline and changing hands to move the ball to the sidelines. Holds onto the ball with two hands to the release. That pat is so insignificant and quick, I agree it's a non-issue in most cases.
Skatt does so many things well that he gets no credit for. He moves off tackles, has great vision to the hole and in traffic, and has very good hands.
Alexander dropping into Zone Coverage, never gives up.
Mbow, always engaged.
My paisano finds the open space in Zone and has good hands.
Black tracks the ball very well.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

I was impressed by Abdul Carter.  I had seen footage of him pre- and post-draft, but those plays were as impressive as hell.   Gets me pretty excited for the pick (which no doubt was the intention of the video)

Carter is lightning fast, slippery as an eel, and is like a heat-seeking missile with a GPS on the ball. I can see why he's compared to Micah Parsons a lot. And he's NOT a soft tackler, but a bully. And I'm glad he's not only a dedicated pass rusher, as he is hard on ball carriers. I was also surprised that he didn't play the same position every play. He could be coming from either DE spot, either OLB spot, or a MLB spot. I suspect that Bowen will have Thibodeaux, Burns, and Carter on the field at the same time a lot of the time. Add in Dex, Alexander, Okereke and Holland, and we should be able to terrorize QBs on a regular basis

When I am scouting players, I look at two things.  I look at game cutups or games.  I also look at highlight videos.  I consider the highlight videos as a prospect's ceiling

@Jolly Blue Giant to add to your Carter commentary, I think Carter will be an outstanding spy for the mobile QBs
