Diggs is an egomaniac, a sleazeball, and a druggie, but not a cold-blooded murderer like Hernandez. The Patriots might take the banner from the Cowboys as having the reputation for taking the most players with unacceptable character flaws. Better the Patriots than the Giants, lol

It pays to do a very deep background check before acquiring players

Jolly,

Comparing him not as bad to a sociopathic killer in Hernandez isn't that flattering. He has to be the biggest moron since Antonio Brown, who I believe has CTE. He's gotta go

Because it seems to have a label of some sort on it and looks like something that was bought in a store. Bags of illicit drugs are usually in clear baggies, not packaged like something you buy near the counter at a 7-11 (which is kind of what that looks like).

If drugs weren't involved (and I'm not saying they weren't), then what exactly did he do wrong here?
When you are buying designer things of that nature in LA and Miami they come in jazzed up containers or baggies for the rich and bougie. At least that was my experience seeing people interact with stuff line that living in Los Angeles for 20+ years.

Parting with underage chicks is hardly the look the Shield will feel good about. And if drugs were on board .poof. Certainly booze was.

Wow. Got that right. Lining up for that payday

Being a rich athlete didn't keep Plax out of jail.

So quickly to throw stones with righteous indignation. If I were him, I would make better choices!

The hardest players to control are the older dudes who still think their sh*t don't stink on a steep decline.

His last year with the Bills his targets dropped like a rock after the second half of the season. Then he gets traded to the Texans with team options of 2-3 years and they say f it, this is one year deal you free after.
Thats insane to me. Never heard of that.

Then not even a hint of resigning, tears an ACL in his 30's and still getting paid. Good for him, I always liked him in his interviews. I just don't see the arrow pointing up. Like if we signed Odell again, all the fans would expect 2015 guy to show up. It's just asking for Disappointment. Giants fans were asking for this guy, NO WAY. This dude is a turd. A distraction. Not humble enough to understand where he is in his career.

While Diggs' play has declined (before he tore his ACL), this sort of off-field incident is unusual for the 30-year-old.  He is your typical WR diva, but this sort of questionable off-field incident is not part of his history.  From what I have read, the contract is designed to protect the team if Diggs fails to fully recover from his ACL injury.  It's less protective for these sorts of incidents (just the standard boilerplate language about conduct detrimental).

It was different when BB was the HC.> They wanted to play for him, get that ring, and be done. He was able to control all the malcontents. But now, with a new coach, even if he is a winner, there is no controlling them anymore. Vrable will have his hands full. I agree, the best thing to do, like Parcels USD to do, cut someone important to send a message no one is safe.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

From the article "appearing to dispense an unidentified pink powder". Appearing, and unidentified are the words being used. Said in a courtroom it would probably be thrown out. In the court of public opinion, a different story. Now I'm not giving him a pass(no pun intended), but.... I watched the video and stopped it when he gave it to the girl. The dark blue thing looked like a pipe, and the pink looked like a solid object, a lighter perhaps. Maybe it's just some smoke. Any way my question is Which one of the girls went first?  >:D

DaveBrown74

If it was this pink cocaine, he should have been off the team by now. It can't be that hard to find out the truth. There were tons of people on that boat, and it sounds like folks who have actually seen pink cocaine in real life all think that's what this was.

Then again, I really could care less about internal problems the Pats are having with some washed up diva receiver. They're not in our division or even our conference, and we don't play them this year.

F--k 'em.

As compared to being on a boat with drugs and underage girls?  Anywhere other than NYC, with Bloomberg as mayor wanting to make an example, and Plax gets a slap on the wrist.
