The question isn't what NYG needs, it should be what don't they need

Okereke is and will be the face of the franchise , but I do agree with you they should keep Simmons . I think he can be a stud

@Jolly Blue Giant

I hope we see a big improvement in JMS, and maybe the coaching change will do that.  I am just mindful that JMS was an older rookie and I believe older rookies have a lower potential as they have already physically developed

Mighty..

Building a good OL (trying again) is paramount. The unit has been terrible for years..as we have witnessed. It helped preclude any chance of Jones developing into a star (a big if) and Barkley from superstar success.

After that..any talent infusion is welcome. If they keep their qb powder dry this April, X Wr and Edge also high on the list.

With so many holes, will Daboll go the future qb route or run it back with draft additions..FA add ons? Another  losing season could be it for him, but drafting a qb like McCarthy would buy him time seemingly.

Personally, I hope the new defensive coordinator will find a place for him on the team in 2024, Lenn. Wink definitely set him up for success in certain packages and there's no reason why his talents and skills shouldn't be strongly considered unless they plan to upgrade through the draft or major FA acquisition.

Peace!

Once the Giants "fix the damn Offensive Line," I'm with you 100% in that JMS will start to blossom and we'll only begin to see his very best in the coming years, and hopefully as soon as the Ravens are making the most of Tyler Linderbaum and his Pro Bowl 2023 season.

Peace!
