With Super Bowl LVIII in the rearview and the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine on the horizon, it's time to look toward the next group of talent to hit the pro ranks.

Below is my first snapshot of the top five prospects at each major position in the 2024 NFL Draft class.

Some interesting choices there

There are a lot of super-high-cabliber players shown. I can almost guarantee major success the for Penn State guys, with possible exception of Chop Robinson, who I think will be very good but maybe not worth a 1st-rounder).

IMO, QB could be the weakest group shown; if not, then certainly in the bottom three groups.

There are several players shown (other than my "standard" plea for Marvin Harrison, Jr.) whom I'd be thrilled to get in the first round (whether the Giants stay put, trade up or trade down).
