On the plus side for Melton,  he played both inside and outside in a 4-2-5 scheme. That's largely what Bowen plays (2-4-5 if the EDGE's are standing) so Melton has a leg up in terms of knowledge having received pro style coaching utilising man and zone concepts in Schiano's defense.
