His dream last year ended with an injury before the season even started. But he's back and in full health and apparently impressing in practice. Hard to ignore a 6-3 WR who ran a 4.38

He's had a year to study the route tree and the way the Giants prepare for battle each week. At least he's gotten a year of mental exercise under his belt that all rookies have to go through. I think it's great to have youngsters in the system ready to step up when another player goes down. I'm hoping he's a hidden gem

The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

Nothing wrong with believing in oneself.

I saw the article. He didn't impress at camp last year and I doubt he would have made the team. Marquis players try not to get hurt at these OTA's. Let's see how he looks in August. It would be nice to push the roster by default players.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Ed,

I thought his path to the 53 was as a special teamer rather than as a WR (as you pointed out, he didn't look all that great at receiver).

Overall, I am happy with how much better the WR corps is.  Last year, many of us hoped BFW would make the team and play a significant role.  This year, I couldn't care less.   If, by some miracle, he improves and becomes part of the WR corps, great, but it's hardly needed.

I think the UDFA Wrs we got in this draft are significantly better than BFW. The Jiles kid and the Wyoming kid are upgrades to him in my opinion.

All I know for sure...is it's great to have stiff competition from quality backups. BFW might stand a chance if he stands out in special teams, which he's supposed to be good at. When you're a backup, it's a huge plus to be a very good ST player

Completely agree!

If he a) listens to his coaches, practices and incorporates all the minutiae of playing WR and has a "my ball not yours" attitude, with physicals like that, he can dominate.
