Goodrow was waived today.  Will probably end up getting bought out.  He's a good guy but makes too much for a fourth liner with little production.  Good playoff player but the cap space would be better.

Rumors Drury has a deal with San Jose for them to claim him.  Would get announced tomorrow.  Obviously, that would be better than the buyout as it gets him completely off the books.  Either way, that would give them about $14MM in cap space.  Lindgren and Schneider have to be re-signed.  Wondering who Drury may go after.

I didn't mind Goodrow. He wasn't an issue but you can't use $3.5 million or whatever it is on him.  No brainer cap move.

Another four point night for Mcdavid sends the series back to Edmonton lol.

And, if it was a Ranger you would be saying anyone could have scored the ENG.

Goodrow claimed by San Jose.  For those who want Trouba gone, too bad Melnyk is dead.  Has to be a cheap team team that would love an $8MM cap hit while only having to pay the player $6MM per.

So, Edmonton has taken the game to Florida and the entire season, and Lord Stanley, come down to Monday night.

If the Oilers pull off the comeback for the ages, and spoil the Florida Bullies' 2024 mission to close the deal, will the latter start breaking up that team and, if so, do the Rangers follow the old saying, "If we can't beat 'em, we'll steal 'em."

Should the Rangers pluck Florida's talent in the off-season to toughen up? Will Florida's players and management be discontented if they lose on Monday to the point they start making changes?

Monday will be one for the history books, either way.

Peace!
