Sanders
Dart
Ewers
Mccall

Weigman
Gabriel
Leonard
Van Dyke
Allar

Etc

Right now Beck is the most likely qb1 in the class and he didn't make your list and Milroe is likely to be 2 or 3.  IMHO he's a more polished version of Anthony Richardson. If we're picking inside the top 10 there will be a quarterback worthy of that pick.

Quote from: madbadger on August 05, 2024, 04:24:45 PMI did. I even saw when Schoen dismissed Indy out of hand when they made us an offer for six that he thought was far too light, which by the way wouldn't command a premium like a top 3 pick.

Moving from 6 woudl have cost NYG 2 1s, 2 2s, and a 3 and possibly more. That is pretty steep for a 3 spot jump

Yes but I get the feeling we are going to have a top 8 pick and the teams likely to draft before us are teams that have recently drafted a quarterback. There won't be a need to move into the top 3. Some of the teams you mentioned will be drafting in the teens. Good luck enticing a team with a top 7 pick to drop that far. It's gonna cost more than what we were willing to offer the Pats.

Fair Point, of those teams I listed, Saints and Raiders are the only ones I can see having a pick in that range.

If we are at 8 and like someone, you still have to consider trading up potentially, to prevent and avoid teams that may break said backs if need be.

Beck doesn't impress me playing with 60+ 5 stars, he's nowhere near Stafford right now imo. The only thing Milroe can do is run and an occasional deep ball because of the Alabama line. His intermediate and short game is really non existent.

Mccall is a walking 3,000 25 and 5 no matter the comp and will surge this season at NC state.

Dart has the best back shoulder in college and has the athleticism to back it up. His game has elevated every year.

Sanders has athleticism and a good ball despite talent around him.

Ewers is a wild card like Weigman to me.

Beck just reminds me of every pedestrian Georgia qb that could win a natty with talent around him but is a consistent nfl backup. He has to take the next step with his wrs and te gone.

This time last year no one was talking about Jayden Daniel's going in the first round let alone top three, the same goes for Richardson the year before. There's going to be two or three guys who are going to go a lot higher than they're projected right now.

Completely agree, if Noah Fifita was 3-4 inches taller I would have put him on that list as well.

Dart is a guy I'm interested in following. Beck doesn't have a high ceiling to me. McCall I'm going to deep dive on.

Wegman is another intriguing guy with moxie and mojo..but got clobbered last year.

Allar looks the part..but I've never really have been high on him. Redfaced

Should watch the hilights of the Penn St v Ole Miss bowl game from last year. Penn St had the number 1 defense in the nation and Dart really took the next step. They put up over 500 yards on them. Allar looked horrible but I don't know if that is because he had no decent Wrs or what.
