SMART, TOUGH, DEPENDABLE

This won't go over well, but if not for the completely indefensible j@ck@ss move of throwing the football late while standing in the end-zone, Jones would have had an elite score.

You might say "but what about the other INT?" First, no one is going to throw the ball at Stingley, Jr., in a regular season game as much as the Giants did. Second, our WR's CAN compete against him and getting them some experience is extremely valuable for the regular season inasmuch as our guys are a rookie and a second-year player. Playing against the best was extremely valuable.

I"m not happy with Jones because of the one play, but his play over all was actually very good.

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

Elite? No. Average to good, yes.

Remember Bob, he had all day to throw. When the pressure is applied, his brain short circuits. No pressure and time to read, set up and throw is what PFF grades as a zero. His plus 2 was the throw to Slayton. He had a couple of plus ones to Nabors. The pick 6 was a minus 2.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Ed: I should not have said elite. You're right. I meant that it would have been the top grade (or second to the top) among all of the players on offense. Bob
