I thought they did a pretty good job breaking things down.  The start discussing DJ at the 8:50 mark

Is there a vaccine which might protect us from the Paralysis of Over Analysis? If not, then it is devoutly to be wished. :P

Cheers!

Rich: They get a rating of "slightly homer." lol

The bad stuff was ignored; they jumped right to the good stuff (there WAS a lot of good stuff).

Also, I was heartened that they disagreed with J T O'Sullivan (the QB podcaster who did a review of Jones vs. Houston that you posted yesterday) about Jones' supposed bad footwork.

He does occasionally set his feet like he's going to throw one way when he's IMO actually waiting for someone else to come open (usually on the other side of the field), at which time he re-shuffles his feet before making the throw.  O'Sullivan interpreted those plays as just plain bad footwork. I don't think so.

There are obvious disadvantages to doing that... it can slow you down, it can throw off your timing; and most importantly it can adversely affect your accuracy... but I see it as a good (and devious) way of keeping the safety on the wrong side of the field from where you want to throw. It helps especially on deep tosses and even certain intermediate level routes.

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

It was nice to see they agree with my take on Bo Nix. The most NFL-ready QB of this class. Everything they said about him was spot on. As for Jones, they were spot on too that he came back from adversity to finish strong. He has the physical skills, he just needs confidence in his protection and have the action slow down for him as he eases his way into a game. Like I've said, bad starts will kill this team, whether it's the QB, the Oline, Penalties or drops. We know he rattles under pressure and is slow to read, but Daboll should be able to work around that to his strengths.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Another scour the Internet to find a guy like Simms who is the ultimate homer to feed an agenda.

When will this ever end?
