Chatted with former Broncos DT Elijah Garcia yesterday and his head was still spinning after a hectic 48 hours.

He was waived Tuesday at the deadline. Driving away from the facility in Denver, his agent called and Giants said they were interested in having him join the PS if he cleared waivers.

Once he did, Garcia had to get on a plane in Denver on Wednesday. The tram at the airport was down. He was in a panic. Just made the flight to NJ.

The weather was sketchy Wednesday night, so his flight was diverted to Washington.

Finally got to NJ around 1 a.m. Thursday, roughly 7 hours on plane. Checked into hotel, had to be up by 7 for his physical with Giants yesterday a.m.
On the team, in meetings and at practice yesterday.

Hell of a few days for the guy, hopefully things work out for him, we still need some DL depth so hopefully he can develop and eventually help down the line. Let us hope all of the Undrafted Elijahs at DT work out lol

I think he has the potential to fill the role Ryder Anderson had

Denver's DL is stacked and there just wasn't room to keep him, and apparently wanted to. I've read some stuff here and there, and he sounds promising. A DE (6-5/300+) with some decent moves to get at the QB and in his prime. Time will tell
