Perhaps you're just not aware of just how good JJ is?
He also gave up a td to a lesser wide receiver and maybe two actually I know they went after him at crucial times

Quote from: Woody on September 08, 2024, 05:01:11 PMMara must be pissed ...they let Barkley walk and got no one to replace him....I really don't think Mara wanted to see him leave...
hopefully, if things don't improve quickly and Giants are out of Playoffs by November ....Mara needs to contact Bill sooner rather than later. And have him ready to take over next year.
I know not is early to say that ...but really I don't see what Dabble can do at this point other than win at least 9 games.
And based on todays performance that does not look likely.
hope I am wrong about all of this but ???? show me something ...please.

I'm sure Mara is pissed, but I'm not sure anyone rational thinks if you added Barkley to that 5 car pile-up we all just witnessed that things would have been much better. A little better, sure, but we're still losing that game in lopsided fashion.

We had Barkley last year. We all saw the season we had. Is the rest of this roster really much better than last year's?

Huh?  He didn't have coverage on Donalds 2d TD pass to Nailor; that was Flott's responsibility, who bit on the JJ decoy.  Banks followed JJ across the field and clearly was in man coverage.  He also wasn't victimized; he barely had the ball thrown his way, which is impressive given he was covering JJ.  You seem to making things up to support a false narrative that Banks stinks. Banks had a tough assignment today, and acquitted himself well, for such a young player.

A scary thought!

Look, collectively, the QB and the line have to do better to get in sync with each other. The QB's issues are evident, but I think we can delineate coverage sacks from O-Line missed assignments from QB not reading the defense before the snap correctly and making adjustments. I guess it all adds up to polishing a turd in the final analysis since the only other option is running the ball and that wasn't particularly effective either!

Peace!
