Not sure what a RB is...

Nah, but for real...there were two high defenses the #Giants were passing into. PHI used primarily six-man boxes.

They had TWO under-center runs in the first half. Troubling how similar it was to the previous week.

Nick, where do you put the blame? I see it as due to QB limitations, the pass game struggles and in turn so does the run cuz there is no real threat at QB. Or is it mostly playcalling?

Daboll and the #Giants want to attack defenses in a certain way but lack the quarterback to threaten defenses consistently.

The failures are collective but are exacerbated by the quarterback's inability to raise the rest of the team and capitalize on opportunities.

Strategic disconnect?  Feels like Daboll is scheming what he wants to do instead of what Jones is better suited to.

The choice to not even try to run the ball with the backs in the 1H being an indicator.

 I wonder if Jones performs these concepts well in practice but just lacks the quarterbacking skill to adjust to curveballs thrown by defensive coordinators, especially when he's getting hit.

I think at least some of the issue with calling run plays is that the team is 5th from the bottom in yards per carry.  I don't think you can abandon the run but at the same time this team does not run well even when faced with a 6 man box and two high safeties.

If you cannot run against that type of defense you got problems.
