Since we have not had a topic on Jones stats this season for a few weeks, I went ahead and looked into it for those that were curious what a full season at this pace would look like as of now with updated numbers.

Season Totals:
Passing Yards: 1442 (13th)
Passing TDs: 6 (T-21st)
INT: 4 (t-51st)
QBR: 46.8 (25th)
Yards Per Completion AVG: 6yds

He has also rushed 50 times for 184yds and 0 TDs

Yesterday, Jones went 14 of 21 (66.7%), no TDs and no INTs, and had 20 yards on the ground in 5 carries. He averaged 4.7 yards per completion, QBR 16.6, Passer Rating on 77.3 against the Eagles.

He is on pace for 3502 passing yards, 14.5 TDs, 9.7 INT on the year along with 446.8 rushing yards and no TDs on the ground.

If you combine rushing with passing you would have just shy of 4000 all purpose yards.

Since the Seattle game, there has been a downhill trend. To be fair, he did just lose AT for the year who is a top 5 OT in the league, that is going to hurt no matter what, AT is irreplaceable. The Steelers do not look like a team he will get right against, although they sometimes have a tendency to play down to their opponents.

However after that, we have a weak Panthers team, along with the bye after, to try and figure things out. It may end up with him being benched to avoid injury and evaluate Lock/Cutlets, but with them in the lineup I would expect inferior numbers to Jones, despite my feelings about him.

But there you have it, we are sitting at 2-5 and likely out of the playoff hunt, another rough season. Hopefully better days are on the horizon. They have to come eventually.....right?
