That is essentially the offensive line.  There appears to be one of Daniel Jeremiah's proverbial tomato cans with JMS.   Worse, that tomato can was in the middle of the line, the last place a QB wants to get pressure from.

Is it time to buy a center in the offseason so a new QB has a proven vet there next year?

My feeling on the line is that it's largely better, but still very average or just adequate.  Run blocking is not good.  Feel like a plus player on the interior would make a big difference, either guard position.

I don't agree with PFF's assessment, as pass blocking is more than numbers.  PFF acknowledges the interior was giving up serious pressures.   That means DJ and Lock didn't have the ability to step up when their two OTs (who PFF acknowledges played okay rather than well) would give up pressures.  Plus, DJ and Lock had to hold the ball longer as Mark Sanchez pointed out there were many plays where the receivers were not getting open.

I am not pretending that DJ played well, but I am also mindful that regardless of PFF's grades, the offensive line play was again bottom five, at least from how I saw it.

In the 1st half there was multiple plays where he double and triple pumped.  Indecisive/hesitant

The problems that Jones incurs is when he doesn't set his front foot on the side to throw, he's inaccurate. He when he doesn't feel the rush for example in his first sack where he had time to hit 29 in the left flat. When he drops back too far or bails the pocket when he had protection by stepping up. Things break down. One play where Nabors was open on a Shallow Crosser and he had time, he didn't throw the ball and then had to bail the pocket. Yes, in the previous same play, he didn't have time and took a sack, but it affected him on that second play. The timing of a pass play is so important, that if a QB misses a short window, the coverage is closed. Then by bailing the pocket or not stepping up to let a play develop, he loses an opportunity. What he does do well, is he doesn't slide to the pass side or over hitch. He has good feet.
