The team is let down by very poor leadership, especially the HC, and they don't have a bona fide starting QB, which is on the GM and the HC.
Did you watch the game today ? There was no effort on the defense side ball the whole game with the exception of a couple of series late in the game. Poor tackling wide open receivers. 50 yard runs after contact. That is not good effort. Lineman being pushed around like rag dolls....if that is good effort after a bye week with well rested players than they are really lacking talent everywhere on the roster.

As should have been the case with Jones.

A run the risk of the injury guarantee coming into play and forcing them to keep Jones next year? I'm not so sure. Schoen is rightly criticised for not trading pending free agents at the deadline - we read that he doesn't think of the future and has no vision.

So he thinks of the future. He looks at the 70 games Jones has played for the Giants and makes a call that he believes is in the best interest of the team.

What do you think he could learn about Jones over the final 7 games of the season?

I think it if it happens it will be the end of the season. At this point, I want a new coach working with the new QB. Daboll's Josh Allen shine has dulled considerably.

That was the plan until Jones asked to be released.
