Just a couple of other points. Why did they wait until the second half to even try and get your best player involved in the game? Nabors is probably our best offensive weapon and as OC you have to figure out ways to get the ball in his hands. He went unnoticed until the start of the second half.

Also, TD is a rookie, starting his first game. On the first play, Tracy runs for 16 yards. So what does Daboll do for most of the 1st half, have TD try and throw the ball and he is consumed. Let him ease into the game, and run the ball as much as you can, just a horrible, horrible game plan. I am not convinced he cannot be a serviceable coach but he simply cannot call plays anymore. He really seems to have no feel for the game as an OC.

Without an AP QB, Daboll had always been a terrible OC.

I can go back and look myself because I have before but forgot, but in those stints where he was a terrible OC, did he ever have a QB whom you would call even "decent" or "league-average"? Or who other OCs had materially more success with?

No, which is why I'm ok if the Giants choose to give him another year with a potential good starting QB. As you stated a few months ago, we know he can be a good OC with a plus QB.
