The Cowboys have owned the Giants, winning 14 of the last 15 contests. Go in their house as a team, punch them in the mouth and kick the crap out of them.

It might just right the ship. At this point it may be more important than the Number One Pick, and having to start all over. It's time to end the vicious cycle of wash, rinse and repeat every 2-3 years.

And send a message, nothing is more important than winning.

If the player that they pick works out, it's a great spot to be in. But that takes time to see.

Even if we trade for picks, those picks will turn into players and those players will need to work out for it to be a good move.

Either way, it really comes down to Schoen and crew doing their due diligence and their draft picks working out.

GO: I mostly agree but still belief ONE player can change a team in the NFL (depending on who the rest of the players are). That may sound counter-intuitive or self-contradictory, but it is true.  Almost all NFL players come from winning college teams (or were absolute standouts on second-rate teams). It takes a certain type of player (not necessarily a QB - look at the LT situation) whose play and leadership REMINDS all of the other players what he USED TO BE (or how he USED TO approach the game) when in college.
