I know there was cautious optimism expressed by some after the Panthers game regarding Neal but I remained skeptical.  He is absolutely awful and if you want to see his ineptness on full display, watch the last 3 series of the first half ( those following the 4 th down stop).  He is going to get someone killed.

He's a bust.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Again - if Schoen wanted him badly then Schoen cannot evaluate talent and Schoen needs to go!

He looks like he lost at least 20-25 lbs. He just doesn't trust his athleticism and opens his hips to protect the outside but then gets beat inside. Two weeks in a row now.

The Hero's stat is set very high and credits an elite grade. This past game showed a lot of players in the 70-80 range and those are very good grades. Overall there was improvement as a team in many categories from the anomalous prior week and on par with Dallas.

I look at aspects of the grade. For Olinemen, I look at Run and Pass grades. Sometimes a weak aspect brings down a total grade. A solid coverage grade can be negated in the overall by a weak tackling grade or in run support. It's rare that a player gets high grades across the board, but it doesn't mean they didn't have a positive or negative impact on a game. Also as we know, PFF weighs all plays of equal value. So big moments are meaningless.
