I don't care who the GM is next year , but the one thing that any GM of the Giants cannot do is to trade up for a QB and give up draft picks and next year . It would set the team back another several years .

If Mara won't say anything than Tisch must put his foot down and stop it .

There is no Andrew Luck, Dan Marino, Peyton Manning or John Elway waiting to be drafted this year.

If Schoen isn't fired, you will have a desperate GM who will be strongly tempted to trade away the team's future to save his job.

If whoever it is like them enough. And is right about it, then there is no setback doing it.

"We're going to build this thing the right way... I'm not going to do a Hail Mary for self preservation. We've got a plan in place and we're going to stick with that"

-Giants GM Joe Schoen on potential roster plans and spending for the 2025 season.

We see a better QB than anyone out there now riding the pines in Minn. Even if wein next week we will still have a very high #1 draft pick and the Vikings will be picking near the bottom. How can they just let Darnold walk after the year he has had? Trade our #1 and throw in a 5th for McCarthy and many will be happy.

If he were there at say 5 in the draft this year we would pick him in a heartbeat. Call the Vikings today and get the ball rolling.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

Just curious but did you correctly project Pat Mahomes value before the draft? How about Trevor Lawrence? Guys hit and miss. Hell Marino was such a can't miss prospect that he went 27th overall. If you have a good process in place and you feel strongly about a player, quarterback is the one position it's advisable to roll the dice.

There was a rumor about drugs and Marino and that is why he lasted.

Also that he was not very smart.

The QB in this draft class are good but not great. There is no way Schoen should be drafting in desperation mode. That choice should not even be thought.
