Well I had my day of venting over Mara and Tisch screwing over the fan base.

Needless to say, I am beyond pissed that Mara and Tisch literally held no one accountable for the worst Giants season that I can remember in over 40 years.  I think it's a mistake to keep the two who have led the team in the wrong direction over the past three years.

As Neal ( @londonblue said), you get a day to vent, and I have.  Now, I will support the two moving forward, as the decision is made, and my choices are to stop being a fan of the team or grin and bear and bear it and hope to hell the pair prove me wrong.    So, they have my support moving forward. I hope for the best.  I hope posters like Tim @T200 and Ed @EDjohnst1981 are correct about the pair.

If we do this again next year (even if next year he fires the pair), I can't guarantee my continued support for Mara or his team, as this nonsense is getting really old after over a decade. 

That said, I reserve the right to withdraw said support if it appears that Schoen overspends on free agents or overpays draft capital (or worse, mortgages in the future) trying to get a QB in a weak QB class.


So that all said, let's get moving, Schoen and Daboll. You have a hell of a lot of things to accomplish this offseason, and I hope you succeed.

Rest assured if they're picking in the top 5 again next year everybody is fired. I believe Jones was mostly forced upon them and as such they deserve a shot with a real QB. Well now they have their shot. Get your QB play some offense and win some damn games for a change. And not the meaningless ones in December which have screwed this team over more than either Daboll or Schoen ever could.

Mara and Tisch live in completely different worlds than we the fans do. I'll mention it again. Despite the overwhelmingly poor product put on the field the value of the team in the last ten years has increased from $2.1 Billion to $7.3 Billion. That's an increase of 5,200 Million. What business can fail horribly yet increase in value more than threefold? Season ticket holders who are PSL holders should band together and demand a refund of their PSL purchase. The 5,200 Million should be able to handle that. Tisch was brought on to handle the business side, and has evidently done very well. Mara needs to be hit in the pocket. Imagine giving out medium Pepsis which each cost cents to make. What gaul. The $40 Million payed to Jones is .008% of 5,200. It meant nothing for him to pay Jones. Schoen got the two year compromise. So here we are, and that's why Schoen is too. It's all on Mara.
