Him and Kafka would give us 4 3rds if the both got GM/HC respectfully.

Mighty - Rich,

You know that President of Football Operations we keep begging for, who would be capable of holding everyone accountable?

There he goes...

In the past two weeks, Tom Brady has approached Bellichick and Brandon Brown. Imagine either or both of them running this franchise?

I would feel so much better than I do about this franchise right now.

From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!

Wasn't this a replacement hire by Schoen for himself when he was to move on to bigger & better things?

It's damn hard to obtain and hold onto anyone of any value in this organization.....why give permission when we need to hold onto as many quality individuals as we can....by hook or by crook, we need to build up the Giants nest egg when it comes to quality individuals whether it be a player or management.

Our cupboards are bare and what little value we currently hold should not be poached so easily.

Other than Brown & Bracillo, poach what you want. Take Daboll & Schoen too if you want. I don't think it'll move the needle one way or the other if you take tweedle dumb & tweedle dumber as our top two and replace them with Mangini & Holmgren and you aren't going to change what the New York Football Giants are right now which is one of the least desirable places for a player to play and the least likely to change/adapt to an organization that is moving in a positive direction.

We are the bottom of the barrel in the NFL and have been for a good minute. No player wants to come here unless we are the highest bidding team (assuming by a good sized margin), and no coach/management wants to come here other than as a stepping stone (we can't win enough to be used as an example of changing the teams environment/improving the area you were brought in to improve).

I mean....we can't get any worse!?!?!?

Feels like we've been saying this every off season (which usually begins early for us Giant fans).

We've let our good value players/coaches leave and bought players/coaches that the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

Mara & Tisch couldn't find their way out of a phone booth if they were stuck in it together.

Absurd that this is what the New York Football Giants have become.

A dead, rotting corpse of a team that intelligent teams use/abuse to pick our corpse clean of anything worth any amount of value as they step over us like a right given to them at birth for NOT being a giants fan.

SELL THE TEAM PLEASE MARA & TISCH!!! The legacy you perceive you are leaving behind is crumbling yearly, monthly, weekly, and now daily.

Do the right thing and sell the team for an absurd amount and live in the Cayman Islands and fly in a couple times a year for a game or two. We will applaud you when you return....as a thank you for selling the team to owners that want to win and make that the # 1 priority of their business.

Absurd!

Sadly, the Maras and Tishes value nepotism and loyalty more than fielding a successful football team.   Although, in fairness, when you consider the value of the franchise, there isn't much in the way of success they haven't enjoyed outside of jacking up prices this coming season.

The sad part is I doubt Mara or Tisch believe they have sacrificed success to cater to protecting long-time but ineffectual employees or keeping family members employed.   I am sure in their minds, it's just been a run of bad luck, and they have fielded such terrible teams for so long that they have forgotten what a successful team actually looks like or how one is run.

One scene from Hard Knocks still sticks in my mind.  It was Brandon Brown talking to John Mara.  It seemed to me Brown had to stroke the old man's ego by talking about the good old days instead of focusing on his work to make the team better.

I know some don't believe what they saw in Hard Knocks was a real representation of the team, and I don't the reality that those in the business saw it as an embarrassment for NYG will change their opinions.   For those who appreciated the glimpse behind the curtain that HK represented, I think it's worth asking yourself, with all the airtime John Mara had, did he really say or do anything that would contribute or potentially contribute to the team's success?   If it didn't, he shouldn't be wasting his staff's time with all the inane conversations.
