I was discussing the AFC strength vs the NFC one...

It's insane that out of 4 teams left in the AFC, 3 are KC, Baltimore and Buffalo.
Those are probably the best teams in football right now.

Sure, the Lions are a heck of a team, and so are the Eagles... But I still think KC, BAL and BUF are better.

Whoever gets into the SB from the AFC probably deserves it the most.
And we'll potentially end up having a better Championship game than the SB itself.

Quote from: files58 on January 12, 2025, 08:36:33 PMWTF. This is why I don't like Dan Quinn. You take the points especially on the road. He lost a SB to the Pats because he simply didn't run time off the clock. Makes untimely bad decisions. Reminds me of the late Jim Fassel. I would have let him go after the Viking debacle. Those things repeat, and we had the collapse in SF.

Dan Quinn will go down as the coach who lost the SB after dominating it until midway through the third quarter, being up 28:3.

And what he's done yesterday could've easily cost the Commies the Divisional Round... They were just lucky it didn't.

Daboll wasn't wrong about him.

Would we have made the Playoffs? I don't think so. Would he have been an impact player for years to come? For sure.

You make it seem like he didn't try. You need a willing trade partner.

Seems like the elite QBs are concentrated in the AFC, with Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Mahommes.

I don't think Schoen really wanted to draft Daniels.
Daboll clearly didn't believe in Jones, but Schoen still was...

That is utterly untrue. Schoen tried to trade up to get any of the top 3 QBs and was rebuffed.

Is this a Mad Libs?  * corrected thanks TD

Schoen still was stuck between a rock and a hard place

Schoen still was trying to not have his career tied to Jones career.

Schoen still trying to hedge his bets on a QB coming off a playoff win vs Vikings
