I've now watched it twice.  Beginning to end it's outstanding.  At the 42 minute mark, Gruden tells Dart he wants to call 4 plays with one blocking scheme and based on the coverage, Dart will call one of the 4 plays.  He seems to learn it very fast.

At the end of teh video, it's drills with Dart throwing and Gruden yelling out things like coverage.

Frankly, this is the kind of one on one coaching, I'd love to see the Giants do with Dart.  Find someone who is very capable (Gruden?) and get him on staff to work exclusively with Dart.

I just watched this.  The biggest takeaway for me is that I am nowhere near smart enough to play QB.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

AZR: It's a sobering reality, isn't it.  But all that planning and mumbo-jumbo isn't enough to win.

It's usually only enough to put your team in a position to win.

But when the chips are down (with evenly matched squads) in the modern NFL at least, games don't turn on planning... difference-making plays are more often than not the result of one or two guys doing something that wasn't (and can't be) planned in advance (or practiced).

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!
