Assuming Nabers is one, who will be the 2nd leading receiver

Assuming Nabers will be the leading receiver for the team, who do you see as the second leading receiver?

How are we quantifying this, number of receptions? Yards? TD's?

I think Slayton will have a big year, Wandale I expect his receptions to dip a bit, but think he will make more of them with the new QB room.

Dealer's choice

Receptions is usually the standard, but any measure if fine by me

I chose Wan'Dale, but I think it could be any of the above, or a surprise contender coming out of training camp. I hear (well, mostly read) really good things about Fidone, and when he's on the field, he'll probably get a lot less defensive attention than the obvious receivers. Then again, maybe it will be someone like Da'Quan Felton or Beaux Collins...and wouldn't it be a hoot if small school Jordan Bly (runs a 4.36) turns out to be a stud in the mode of Victor Cruz. Not to mention, Wilson has taken Hyatt under his wings, so maybe it'll be a stellar year for him

Bottom line:  :-??

Although, we may anticipate a generally deeper passing game to add to Darius Slayton's production such that he will see an increase from last year's 39 receptions to something equal to or somewhat better than his 6-year career high of 50 catches, it's not likely to top that of Wan'Dale Robinson.

In his 3rd season last year, Robinson was targeted twice as often as Slayton and had 93 catches, more than double his. While the gap may close, I doubt that it will be enough to change the order. However, if we are talking about yards gained then on a PFR 17 game average, Slayton would average 70 yards more per season which is surprisingly little. When it comes to scoring neither makes much of a dent.

Of course, I suppose it's possible for a substantial increase in production by both Theo Johnson and Jalin Hyatt to take a lot more from Robinson than Slayton, but I don't think enough to affect second place.

In any case, what really matters is that as a team, the Giants Receivers produce a meaningful increase in catches, yards and TDs.

Cheers!

I thought about adding him to the list.  I suspect that the receiving will be split pretty evenly between Tracy and Skattebo, limiting either RB's overall numbers.

I went with Theo because I was thinking in terms of number of catches, not necessarily yardage.

In part it's wishful thinking because, IMO if he becomes a meaningful contributor in this offense, I think we'll have a very functional offense.
From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!
