I had four yellow after two also but there was only one word possible out of the combinations taken away. Took me a long time to figure it out.

I struggled today also. Only had 3 yellows in my first 3 words. I got it in 5 but, as Ric said, I was more than surprised when I entered a word just to try and get letters in the right place and they all flipped green.

Since you had all the letters and only needed to unscramble them, you weren't in danger of getting the 'other' word.

But, if you drop the last letter, what's the first word that comes to mind?

I had the first 2 letters, the last letter, and the vowel out of place after the 3 establishing guesses.   After that, it was pretty easy to figure out
