I love it. It was the very first movie I thought of when I saw the thread.

Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... When considering a "movie with great music," there are two categories that I must consider:

1.  A Musical plain & simple.  In that case, I would go with BANDWAGON.

2.  Background music for a mighty movie.  Then I go with the magnificent score by Miklos Rozsa for BEN HUR.

One of the things I've always liked about Tarantino movies is the music. Quentin goes to great lengths to make the music part of the story and is an absolute master in making music compliment his movies. So many examples: opening scene of Kill Bill when he shoots pregnant (with his baby) Uma Thurman while playing Nancy Sinatra's "Bang, Bang" or Once Upon a Time in Hollywood playing "You Keep Me Hangin On" or Miss Driver (Daryl Hannah) whistling "Twisted Nerve" preparing to kill Uma Thurman in Kill Bill

The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

Yes, definitely loved the Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction soundtracks.

I agree with Jim, if one is talking great music as in musicals, there are an infinite number of major movies, last probably being West Side Story and we go on from there.
Hair is a great one
Sound of Music
My Fair Lady etc. etc.

If we are talking just great soundtracks, there is no better than
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Followed by Jaws, the Ten Commandments, Psycho, The Magnificent Seven, and who knows how many others.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.
