Jolly Blue Giant

Name this famous person...picture taken last week

I told my teenage son, when I was his age, I used to get 10 CDs in the mail for a penny. I don't know if he thought I was lying or even knew what a CD was, or what a penny was, or what the mail was, or all of the above

Looks a bit like Michael Moore, but I assume that's wrong.

Just to be clear, we're talking about the man, right?

Yes...the man...and you probably know him very, very well

I'm really struggling. Dana Carvey? William Macy?

Is it an actor? I need some sort of a hint.

Yup, he's an actor. His earliest role was played in "Rambo, First Blood". But after that, he made a big name for himself in a TV show before getting the lead role in a major television show that ran for ten seasons

Ding, ding, ding...

I couldn't believe it when I saw the picture in the paper yesterday. Flabbergasted me...LOL

How I think of him:

You helped me quite a bit with those hints. I don't think I would have gotten that anytime soon without them!

I figured very few people (if any) knew that he was in First Blood when he was really young

He really hit the big time with NYPD Blue. He made the mistake of thinking he was as much a part of the show as Dennis Franz and wanted the same kind of payout. Wrong! But I'm sure he made up for any loss with his role in CSI Miami

Supposedly worth around 35 million. Guess he's just laying back and enjoying his wealth and not giving a crap about the Hollywood scene. I say, "good for him"

I knew he was in First Blood because I watched that again recently (like a year ago). Great movie. I remember seeing that with my Dad when I was a kid. Definitely memorable. Dennehy and Stallone were both great in it.

Another one...easy. Wheelchair bound

DB: IMO a blind person may have had a better chance to get it right than as a sighted person.

The worst possible hint you could get was that photo.  Good one, Jolly!

There must be a million people living who look more like Caruso than Caruso... and a few dead ones too. lol

Bob
If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!
