His narrative was to show that the Giants were so bad that the turnover differential didn't help. That's not true, it did help them win games and keep games close when they did in the second half of the season. The Giants won the following games in the second half of the season and here are the turnover numbers. The larger the margin the larger difference in the score:

Washington 6, Giants 0  Score- 31-19
New England 3, Giants 1 Score- 10-7
Green Bay 3, Giants 2   Score- 24-22
Eagles 4, Giants 1      Score- 27-10
