The way I'm looking at this, Schoen has finally started building this team into the image he had when he got hired.
He now only has remnants of what was left by Gettleman, he has cleaned up the cap and is now inserting "his" players into the lineup. Building and rebuilding take time. Schoen finally has the foundation he can call his own and now that he has it I think he has to be afforded another year or two to let things gel and see the fruits of his labor.
I like the moves made so far and believe the Giants are headed in the right direction.
