SMART, TOUGH, DEPENDABLE

Seems like the much maligned Herbert has as many excuses as DJ. I wonder what the like for like comparison looks like.

I am impressed.  I didn't think one could look at this chart and find a way to spin it into a knock against Daniel Jones.  You proved me incorrect.

We know he's had a bad supporting cast. Nobody has disputed that. Herbert is readily knocked around here despite his cast not being much better but the raw numbers are.

Sorry that was difficult to discern.

I am surprised to see the steelers ranked so low and the Jags.

But before the this spirals into a tit for that, I'll tap out and leave you be to whatever it point you wanted to make.

Just out of interest, who is Ian Hartitz and what NFL-relevant professional experience or credentials does he have? His X handle says he's "president of the Cordarelle Patterson Fan Club" (which I assume is a joke) and that he does a fantasy football podcast. Does he have any actual experience that separates him from just any other fan who spends some of his spare time looking at NFL stuff? If the former applies, I'll probably start following him on X.

There's no need to "tap out;" I find it fascinating how other fans think. When I saw this, my first thought was, "Why are they including run-blocking in their support formula?"  It's always interesting to see how differently people can perceive the same information

Also surprising to see the Bucs ranked high but with a low grade for last year.

Does that mean that Mayfield out performed his cast?

The first thing I noticed is the jump that Stroud made for the Texans. 32nd, 32nd, then 20th.

I get your point though, you van see Lawrence, Stroud, and Herbert don't have significant talent around them. Kinda weird to see Burrow/the Bengals so low as well.

It makes me question PFF.  Chargers have had much more talent on offense across multiple positions than Giants.

The problem with the chargers wasn't talent, they had talent but they were habitually injured and Ekeler hit a wall the end of 2022.

True I forgot about that.  I think their backups were better though.  Coaching had been their biggest problem.

He didn't do the evaluations, pff did.  He did the math.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Not slowing my roll

I'm aware of that. I was just curious who he is. I wasn't challenging the content.
