It is very bizarre to say the least. If I were his teammate I'd be annoyed he isn't there and seems to be playing games.

He was solid as a rookie, at best. He is the proverbial high floor, low ceiling player. No memory problems here. What you see is what you get. A guy who is solid all around but excels at nothing in particular. I'll even go out on a limb and say the second Waller officially retires Theo Johnson becomes the best all around tight end on the roster.
