Here's my possible season destruction scenario: Why the heck are the Giants forcing Elemunor to play guard when he should be the starting RT? Counting on Neal (in mothballs still) to play there. Ouch. And Ruynon is a natural left guard at right.

There's no logic to this. Neal needs to be a backup..earn his keep. Leave Runyon at left, bring back Breedson or sign a guard and pray AT can stay healthy.Edezdu is a guard getting reps at tackle. Oh no. McKethan may be a better option. Yipes. Any injuries here can deep six the Giants offense

To be fair, we are not in camp yet, but I don't like what I am reading about. And maybe Bricillo wants to evaluate their position worthiness, but I hope this rights itself. I don't feel confident at all this turns around.

I don't get why Neal is the preordained starter at RT either. Guy has been horrible for two years running. As a rookie, poor play and mistakes are one thing, but zero improvement as a second year guy is another.

Eleumenor played RT at a solid level for Vegas last year, and the Giants just hired his head coach. At the very minimum, this should be a wide open competition. And even that would be generous to Neal with the way he has played.

My only thought is he played injured last year.

I just hope the leash is short. Eleumenor is proven to be solid at the position. It would be a flat out dereliction of duty to keep a RT in there who is playing terribly when we have a more than suitable alternative on the roster. If Neal is suddenly a good NFL RT out of the blue, then happy days.
