Troubling- Nabers spotted in a strip club throwing money around

IMHO a young man with a lot of money is asking for trouble by being around women with no morals. It's a story as old as time. Hopefully a wiser, older vet will set him straight before it bites him in the ass.

That's everywhere you go these days though. I work for a film studio in LA and it's rampant whether you go to a club, strip club, or a charity event.

Plus now a days when you go on a basic date these days women want to know your acct balance and investments before moving forward to date 2. It's a different world.

That's just sad. It isn't like that in rural parts of the country. That would be reason 100 why I would never live in a major city again. He should call Zion Williamson and ask what happens when you hook up with a stripper/porn star.

Everyone has a different opinion regarding this topic, but here is how I am seeing things.

Losing a thousand dollars is not that much money for an NFL player, so that to me isn't the issue.

I'm more concerned with the people at the strip club and who he is hanging around and also meeting.

There are a lot of shady characters there who are no good, and they can influence him in a negative and bad way.

By introducing him to illicit drugs and a wild nightlife which can derail and destroy his NFL career.

Especially with Daniel Jones and the Giants offense being so dependent on him having a solid rookie year

Why would we be crucifying him?  The young man did nothing wrong.  Considering I have been to a strip club or two in my younger days, I would feel pretty hypocritical criticizing him even if he was a Cowboy.

I think there is also the factor of being honest with ourselves.  Almost everyone on our forum grew up prior to cameras being everywhere and social media.  So we enjoyed being young men and women without everything we did becoming public consumption for everyone to see and judge us.  I wonder if we were all truly honest with ourselves, that we could all think of something we did that would make us look worse if it were posted on Twitter.  I know I am thankful that I lived pre-fish bowl.  I just can't forgive my own youthful indiscretions (perhaps even too strong a word, let us say, exercising less than ideal judgment) while not affording others the same treatment. 

All that being said, I will say I would prefer not to see videos like this turning up, but I am not going to criticize him if they do.

Let me preface what I'm about to say with everything above I completely agree with compared to my idealistic morals.

Now, let's put ourselves in his shoes. Let's forget about this report. Let's instead go back to his days at LSU. Have any of you been down to the Big Easy before? Do you have even the smallest clue what goes on down there? If you did, you'd realize it would make his night in Houston look like a church social by comparison.

He's seen enough of the "real" world before coming to the NFL. Now that the paparazzi have invaded his space, he'll learn his lesson to be more discreet in going out next time.

But the words of wisdom of vultures potentially looking to get a claw into him is a very real concern and it is something the Giants and NFL brief new players in their indoctrination.

In the end, he will either learn from the experience or he won't. But if he goes out again, that's still not for anyone to judge except for the Giants. To date, all the noise has come from everyone EXCEPT the football organization.

I think the question you raised about who he is surrounding himself with was a fair point.  I cannot look at this one event as an issue. As you said this may be a nothing or it just may be the 1st in a series of events. 

There are also different kinds of poor decisions and some affect football and some don't.  Take Antonio Cromartie for instance. His poor off the field decisions didn't affect his play, but are certainly affecting him after football.  Plax had a myriad of off the field stuff that didn't matter to the team until he shot himself. And that incident was not really related to being a poor tenant but maybe fits in the bigger category of poor decisions.

Certainly the NY media will be amplifying any of this type of stuff going forward for him.  If this is going to be a negative pattern it won't take long to see it and quite frankly, there is nothing any of us can do about it.

Every year as an ole miss fan I'm either in baton Rouge or New Orleans for an SEC game, if he survived LSU he'll be alright. I barely survived ole miss and I think I turned out alright lol. Now a days most kids do virtual learning even while living on campus so it's a nonstop party. I remember going to LSU v Ole Miss games on Halloween in death valley and having to buy LSU gear to make it to the parking lot. Different times though.

But let's cut him some slack...imagine a college junior/senior running into millions of USD...8 out of 10 are probably gonna do something silly.

I'm sure our team brass will sit him down and tell him he can better spend his time and money...just like I am pretty sure some of us were told to do, around age 20.

Let's hope this exposure becomes a learning / building block for our rookie.
