I can't say I am surprised the prosecution was guilty of misconduct, as the decision to prosecute was a complete and utter disgrace

They withheld critical evidence and they should be on notice to be disbarred.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

There were two prosecutors.  One resigned because the other one (who reportedly called Baldwin a "cocksu**") wanted to still proceed.   The one that stayed made the highly unusual move of taking the stand to testify.  The excuse she gave was that in her opinion the evidence wasn't relevant, but that is not her call to make.  I agree, that one should be disbarred or at the very least, lose her job.

The case against him was just plain stupid.

Disclosure failures is my primary academic research interest.

This is utterly appalling. It's so rife - across the globe.

I'd say it's the biggest cause of a miscarriage of justice in common law jurisdictions like ours.

Alec Baldwin did very well to keep his cool and not allow himself to be provoked into something physical here. It would have been understandable but that would have been a bad outcome for him despite the clear provocation.

Our country has gone to the dogs.  Honor, honesty, and human decency are no longer valued by far too many in this country.

You may be too kind in your assessment, Rich @MightyGiants . They managed to squeeze in a series for TLC, "The Baldwins," which is about on par with "90 Day Fiancé:"

6 Takeaways From Alec and Hilaria Baldwin's TLC Reality Show

Yeah, "Hilaria, hilarious" allright!

Peace!

"Dave Jennings was one of the all-time great Giants. He was a valued member of the Giants family for more than 30 years as a player and a broadcaster, and we were thrilled to include him in our Ring of Honor. We will miss him dearly." (John Mara)

I looked the heckler up, and he has done this sort of thing before to various people including Hillary Clinton and Robert DeNiro. I'm surprised nobody has ever taken a swing at him (at least not anyone famous), but is this even legal? Does the first amendment permit you to harass someone in their face the way he was doing to Baldwin here? I guess since he wasn't threatening him or blocking him from moving he probably did not cross a criminal line but you have to think he could get sued at some point.

Either way it's kind of sad that this is how this individual chooses to spend his time. I can't imagine it's lucrative, and it's almost certainly not going to lead to anything bigger. Maybe he gets enjoyment out of getting lots of clicks and going viral for a day but I don't know what the point is beyond that.
