Jones took the Giants to the 2nd round of the playoffs in 2022 with:

PFF's 24th pass-blocking and 27th receivers

What Jones was working with in 2022 wasn't even close to "perfect," but he took the team pretty to the divisional round of the playoffs.   I think it's fair to say the claim of "Jones needing everything perfect" is in the fallacy category.

I'll give you one right now:

Neal vs. Ezeudu

Apparently, Eluemunor really wants to stay at G - he thinks it's his best position.

On Hard Knocks, Schoen was listing his pieces on the OL and left out Neal. (He mentioned AT and Schmitz being here the next 3 years but no mention of Neal.) I thought that was telling.

If Neal continues to get beaten like a drum, I can see an open competition for the job with Ezeudu. It's going to be tough for Neal to gain confidence coming off an injury blocking Brian Burns, who will be trying to make a name for himself. It's been Ezeudu running with the 1's while Neal's been out.

Also heard Bricillo wasn't thrilled with some of the stuff Bobby Johnson was doing (splits were too wide, etc.).

Mike Lombardi's son was the Raider's OC.  Mike has repeatedly said Elumuemunor isn't a guard

I'm not sure what you're getting at, Lombardi's entitled to his opinion. My comment is coming straight from Eluemunor. He thinks his best position is G and he does not want to move to RT. FWIW.

Even if JE's best position is guard, if he's the best RT by a mile, play him at RT.  Didnt he play RT last year with the Raiders?

Yes. And he was solid for them at RT.

There are several interviews with Eleumenor on giants.com. He repeatedly stated he's a believer in position flexibility and would gladly play wherever the Giants put him. He started all 17 games at right tackle for the Raiders and his play there could best be described as solid.

I think it would be perfectly fair to say the Giants are in no way screwed at RT this year, even if Neal stinks again.

If Eleumenor gets hurt, then all bets are off..

It's maddening that every time
Someone defends Jones they bring up the
Covid year 2022

Look the rest of his career college and pros

19-19 at a small market college then 22-37-1 in pros.  1-5 last year...I cannot see a positive pattern here

Dismal Outlook- man the torpedoes full speed ahead

I listened to his last interview and he seemed fine with staying at guard, but I didn't hear him say that he thought guard was his best position.

We get it.

I don't think you're necessarily that wrong but for the sake of the board, let's see how it plays out rather than using every available opportunity to repeat the same line.

I'm not being rude, it's just a request - one I am sure others appreciate too - just give it a rest once in a while.

We get it. Honestly.
