#Giants GM Joe Schoen says part of Daniel Jones' agent's selling point to him on the 4-year, $160M contract extension was that a bunch of other QBs were coming up soon for extensions and the number wasn't going to be as top-of-the-market as it seemed.

"There's not really a middle class of the QBs right now. Trust me. That was the sell of the agent at the time. They do their homework, too. 'All these guys are coming up.'"

 that he typically asks coaches to pick their top 22 players on both offense & defense approaching cut-down day to paint a clear picture of where they should be looking to add.

He said he's always looking at this time of year for opportunities to make his team better.

Schoen was asked if he's comfortable with his 53. He said about 51, then corrected himself and said it's probably a little less than that.
