Doing some research on Anthony Johnson. He was the 17th rated safety in The Beast last year. One spot behind Gervarrius Owens. Johnson switched from CB to S his final year at Iowa State. He set the Big 12 record for career starts.

Known as a hard hitter with the Packers. Was a surprise cut, but they drafted three safeties this year so that squeezed him out.

The Panthers claimed 3 CBs from waivers, which might explain why the Giants didn't get to claim one.

Of course, the Panthers have to release players to make room, so...
