The list is now final and to no one's surprise, LT finished #1 on the list.  I was pleasantly surprised to see my personal favorite, Rosie Brown, finish second.

I went through the entire list and realized that I've seen 87 of the 100 play.  God I'm older than dirt!
"It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing"

"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

This was just an outstanding presentation by Bob Papa, the voters and the retired Giants who appeared.

My favorite was listening to Phil Simms and Tiki Barber play off each other during the 20-11 segment. Their stories were captivating and I could sit in a room for hours and lose track of time hearing Simms talk about his days with the Giants. Out of all former Giants, I would truly enjoy hosting him for a day just to hear him share his stories and be able to ask him anything.

Many retired Giants were shocked by their selection, but perhaps the one most taken back was Plaxico Burress. Such an enigmatic story, but someone who was a student of the game who managed to earn "A's" on the field with his performance despite the issues off the field which ended his career with the Giants. Still, his selection was something truly meaningful to him and the quiet emotion he displayed said it all.

Just a phenomenal series!

Peace!

"Dave Jennings was one of the all-time great Giants. He was a valued member of the Giants family for more than 30 years as a player and a broadcaster, and we were thrilled to include him in our Ring of Honor. We will miss him dearly." (John Mara)
