I've been waiting for a threat to start for today's game and haven't seen one, so started it anyway.

Changes from last season:

The fact that Keith Richards has outlived Richard Simmons, sure makes me question this whole, "healthy eating and exercise" thing

Are these starters confirmed? Adoree has barely practiced

I don't know, I just used Bobby Skinner's "X" post in this morning's sports news. Bobby's far more in tune with the front office decisions than I am (well, pretty much anyone is for that matter)

It wouldn't surprise me if Adoree started, but it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't  :-??  Adoree knows the role if he's thrown into it

If he's in football shape he will. Just man him up.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."
~ Coach Tom Coughlin

And Hyatt is just the 4th WR for 3rd and long situations?

If that's the case, it's a huge mistake. The guy got tremendous separation last year. I'm kinda tired of Daboll and his rookie philosophy up to this point. Like Secretariat, - Let them run!

I would think so, until he surpasses Slayton

Things some people don't know:

Slayton: 6-1, 4.39 40 time (hand size 10", arm length 32 3/4", wingspan 79", vertical jump 40 1/2")
Hyatt: 6-0, 4.40 40 time (hand size 9", arm length 32 1/2", wingspan 77 5/8", vertical jump 40")

Very similar, except Slayton has 5 years of NFL experience and is one of DJ's favorite targets and together, they work out plays and practice them. Also, Slayton has shed the moniker hanging around his neck as having the "dropsies" (at least, statistically, not so much by Giants' fans), and for the last couple of years has a higher catch RATE, than Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs, Travis Kelce, and other highly praised receivers. Slayton isn't even in the top 25 for drops among NFL receivers, but it's hard to shed an image, once fans hang it on a player. Slayton is a lot better WR than most Giants' fans give him credit

I feel Devito played better in preseason, won a couple games last year should mean something, and he overall has done well enough to be the backup QB - not emergency 3rd string!
