The Vikings were 29th, because of Dexter Lawrence. Darnold had a near career day.
"There is a greater purpose...that purpose is team. Winning, losing, playing hard, playing well, doing it for each other, winning the right way, winning the right way is a very important thing to me... Championships are won by teams who love one another, who respect one another, and play for and support one another."

Between this OL play, and Nabers separation, I am just at a loss of words at how bad this was.

This is an interesting chart. Out of curiosity, is this considered a standard metric for NFL offensive lines? If so, I can add it as part of the grading criteria for SI#1 (Did the Giants fix the damned offensive line?).

Thank you for sharing this and I hope you can post it every week for us.

Peace!

"Dave Jennings was one of the all-time great Giants. He was a valued member of the Giants family for more than 30 years as a player and a broadcaster, and we were thrilled to include him in our Ring of Honor. We will miss him dearly." (John Mara)

This is more confirmation of what I thought I watched.  Not the ranking, as I didn't watch all the other games, but that there was competent pass blocking in general.

Now if the Giants can do this at least two games in a row, it will be a record for the last 12 years.

uconn: Yes, IN GENERAL, but most NFL success IMO comes from making good plays at the right times (or most important times, depending on how you look at it).

You can have a great game (as an OL or in any other department) but make key blunders and penalties at (for example) a rate of one per quarter and still get blown out.

The Giants of the 21st century are infamous in my thinking for never failing to do the wrong thing at the worst possible time and Sunday was no exception.

If Jeff Hostetler could do it, Daniel Jones can do it !!!

This is what my eyes told me as well.  Pockets were consistently clean, WRs were consistently open, Jones was consistently missing them or freaking out and running into sacks.  This team isn't far away, the QB is.  Unfortunately he's so far away they are likely going to be picking in the top 10 again next season.  And will be until they get competent QB play.

Come on Ed, you have to have GREAT pass blocking or your QB won't thrive. Once DJ gets even average blocking he'll... oh.

This is exactly why I want them to change QB's.

How is it fair to the rest of the players to waste a season because management and the FO want to prove a point? Or worse, tank for a top 3 pick?

If he puts up a stinker in the first half tomorrow and he isn't yanked for the 2nd half, they are going to begin to lose the locker room...starting with Nabers.

And I wouldn't blame any of them!

From Simms to Eli (with an assist from Hoss) our Super Bowl Quarterbacks. Great defense and clutch QB performances...NY Giants Championship football.

I have an old profile still floating around: andrew_nyg....I am one and the same!
