Still has to remain calm as u saw on 2 point conversion - I gotta believe someone was open somewhere but he was locked on and seemed hesitant to run or throw.

Anyway - excellent job getting the TD inside 2 minutes. EXCELLENT JOB!

Homes?

Quote from: killarich on September 15, 2024, 02:30:31 PMYou know what is funny to me .... with Jones....

I feel like he has much better touch on his hard thrown rocket passes rather than his soft passes

Up until last week I was always a Jones defender but I never felt like he can just gracefully drop a nice soft ball in the bucket

Even on the TD pass he seemed unsure on how to softly give it to an open Nabers

Either way not a terrible half by Jones and good drive to end the half

He rarely, if ever, throws with touch. When was the last time the Giants threw a fade in the end zone? He's all fastballs. It is what it is at this point.

He's finished. Time for the Irishman from Rutgers to have a go and make it his job for the next decade.

Peace!

At least they stopped trying to throw fades.  It's just not in his arsenal.

Gano was bad last year. Need a new kicker anyway.

To me a major step in the right direction for this team... would be if they score a TD on this first drive

not having a kicker... going up 2 scores is important

He was kicking hurt last year also

he's not bad but may be at that point where nagging injures will end his career... he's in his late 30's right ?

Which means he should have been kicking off to open the game.

Mind boggling no penalty was called. Even more bizarre the Fox crew didn't even make mention of it.

Selective omission to placate the home team,I guess.

Peace!

He's 37.

It was a dumb contract. You shouldn't get that locked into kickers. They're too abundant.

Idk, Kill; the Giants got physically whipped by a bottom 10 NFL team.  Gonna need to see much better play before I feel optimistic.  Still, Nabers looks the part early.  I think he's gonna be great.  I also continue to be happy with banks.

Excellent point re scoring TD here. Will do wonders for Jones confidence
