We did not force ONE punt ....that is inexcusable ...

You can't BEND the ENTIRE game, give up free points and expect to win games

This game was lost on the scheme of the defense

I was sick of the Graham defense and we are right back to the same philosophy

Bowen is Truly a POS after today

I pray he gets the Spags luck and it clicks game 3 ... but my god that was atrocious

All of that is true but if we have a healthy placekicker we win.

Well, "bend don't break" isn't a scheme. It's a "philosophy". It's also one used by the best defenses in today's NFL. The best defenses in the NFL believe in taking away big plays and forcing a team to march down the field because the odds say they'll make a mistake.

The Giants problem isn't "bend don't break". It's that they suck at it.

It cannot be "bend until you are about to break" everytime the D was on the field.  They scored on every possession and had 37 1/2 minutes of possession time.

C'mon, he may have had a bad game.  He may be a bad coach.  But calling him a POS is far beyond the pale, IMO.
I'd rather be a disappointed optimist than a vindicated pessimist.

Not slowing my roll

Bowen's defense before he came to the Giants wasn't exactly a show stopper.  Based on Hard Knocks he seemed to be a random choice by Dayball

I think the Giants forget that a field goal.is worth 3 points
Also when kickers can make 50 yard fgs now
The bend and don't break is outdated
Well.maybe the way the Giants play it

Rod Rust
Johnny Lynn
Graham
Bowen. What do they all have in common

Unless you have major talent on defense you get beat.

Hard to watch for those of us who remember what a real defense looked like.
I HATE TO INCLUDE THE WORD NASTY< BUT THAT IS PART OF BEING A WINNING FOOTBALL TEAM.

Bend but don't break is an excuse for when teams get lucky and get an interception or just give up a field goal.
