Your narrative is disingenuous as literally no one claimed a QB wins games by themselves. Instead, fans  rightly acknowledged the criticality of the position, which is reflective of their salaries.  To your mind, is the QB as important as the RG?

You know what you said - it caused you to get banned from another forum. But you said Mike Glennon was a better QB than Joe Burrow. Own it, and please dont lie.

Really? MrGap literally disagreed with me saying that on this very thread.

And no the RG isnt as important as the QB - I never said it was. All I said was QBs dont win games by themselves, and they never have. Simple.

What evidence do you have that that is the case?

Pat Mahomes literally willed them to the superbowl, limping in every game injured, with middle of the pack at best receiving core, and then again last year with an equally weak core and aging and declining Kelce.

You think the Bucs would have won a Super Bowl without Brady coming to town? Did Matthew Stafford not literally make the Rams offense go nuclear when he joined the Rams, also instantly becoming a Super Bowl contender?

Did an awful Texans team not instantly become someone to worry about with Stroud comign in as a dominant rookie? You think Davis Mills would have done that same thing last year for them?

Also look at it in reverse, when Eli, Ben, Brees, Matt Ryan with ATL, and all left, the teams that they left, become extremely average at best, or in our case absolutely pitifiul. While not great, the Raiders offense took a significant hit even when Carr left.

But sure, QBs dont win games. Makes sense

I said Mike Glennon was a better QB than Joe Burrow? No I didn't. I am sure I said something like Mike Glennon would look better if on the Bengals and Burrow would look worse taking over as starter on a golf-clubs-in-the-locker-room-time part of the season Giants team. And you took that to mean something else intentionally .

KC had the second best defense in the NFL last year. Mahomes won SBs with guys like Hill, Kelce, Reid, and Spags - who are eventually going to the HOF.

Your insisting that I said QBs arent important. I never ONCE said that. But they all need help. Whether its by their teammates or coaches. Mahomes has never made a sack or INT on defense in his life nor has he ever caught the ball. Much like all the QBs you mentioned.

A teams wins games. The QB is the most important but NOT one of them ever won a SB or a game entirely by themselves.

Are you going to sit here and tell me guy like Victor Cruz, JPP, Strahan, Osi, Nicks, and Snee, O'hara and guys like that had NO impact on those teams?

Give me a break.

False. You wont ever admit it. But I know for sure, and others do too. But keep with your one subject agenda. We are all very thankful for your services.

Just for the record I was making a different point that Burrow is not elite (but a good top 10 QB) and playing with some great wide receivers. He would n't be worse than Glennon but, I was saying if Glennon was on the Bengals and Burrow on the Giants last year--he would not be considered elite at all.

Although he has impressed me more this season than he did in all of his play off games last year. He is really moving around the pcoket well and passing , and I enjoy watching him more this year than last year. Glennon really needs a pocket and a good oline. He was not a good fit here and, a much better QB than he showed here. His reads deep are half ass and his accuracy short passes are inconsistent. Kind of pathetic that my only hope for the Giants last year was a cinderalla story. Leave it this guy to never let me forget it. He thinks it's important to be a smart football fan. Newsflash buddy .... Mara would rather have a bunch of rich wall street traders spending lavishly in his press boxes who could not name one player than some big fan type who works in a parking lot and dedicates their whole life to spouting off football stats on call in sports shows.

Hell I 'll even double down on this -- Burrow is not elite now. I only think Aaron Rodgers (or at least he used to be) and Mahomes are the only ones that I consider elite....

I never said that, now who is twisting others words?

None of those teams I mentioned, that won super bowls, win them without those QBs, of course it is a team sport, but without a QB, you typically do not win it all. History shows

Your argument seems to be the QB is just 1 of 11 players, Patrick Mahomes was not the primary reason KC has played in 6 straight championship game, and the QB is not the single most important part of the win/loss calculous. Is that accurate?

MrGap92

If the Chiefs has someone like Tannehill or Trubisky instead, I wonder if they would still make those same 6 conference championships. It is almost like the QB elevates the team, hence their win total, and ability to contend for titles

It's also the reason Mahomes got a 10 yr/250M deal.  KC doesn't agree with @JT39

Should we go to BBI archive to show you how off de-base-er you were?

Mr. Gap and king are obviously twisting my words and insuianting things I never said.

Again, stop twisting my words. I never once said Mahomes wasn't the best player or the reason why they won it all. I just said no player has ever won a game by themselves. Please stop twisting my words trying to defend your baseless claims.
