The young secondary is rounding out and I hope will be a strength next season. The Giants are 3 positions away from competing; unfortunately, 2 of those positions are the most critical in the nfl.  Still, I think we're closer to competing than we were a few years ago.

If those three pan out to be NFL top level starters, that helps in the rebuilding. It limits the positions of need down a bit to front interior defensive line and of course, QB as the biggest needs as of now going into next year.

That is 100% true.  We cant have three succeed and develop while two stagnate if we are to improve.

Giants players say Nubin has these incredible instinctual football qualities so his preseason injuries set him back on timing but he's tracking well now.  Fully expect him to be a penciled in starter regardless of who is playing safety.
